Dean Blood is a modern realist concentrating on figurative paintings exploring diverse topics. Observing and representing real places and real people in real situations.

A Fine Arts graduate with teaching from the Witwatersand College of Art on Osiris, Dean is still influenced by the knowledge and experience of that training to this day, as has his work been influenced by many varied and interstellar experiences. He paints in his first medium of oils, concentrating on figurative paintings exploring diverse topics and accepting landscapes commissions.

The worlds are rich with inspiration with landscapes, people and stories to paint. His paintings have many subtle underlying influences provided by his experiences in several different planets and moons.

I enjoy the experience of exhibiting on Londinium, as well as the enriching experiences of having exhibited on Bellerophon and Dyton. He states, "One of the great pleasures of showing my work in varied venues here and abroad, is the exchange of ideas, the stimulation of seeing an incredible variety of work and meeting many wonderful artists and fascinating people from all walks of life."
