On November 18th, 2518, an unknown person or persons bridged into the Cortex and broadcasted a video depicting something that might be a reaver and the death of a woman. This is the transcript of that video
(Static blast begins the signal)

FEMALE SCIENTIST
These are just a few of the images we recorded.

(Images of dessicated and mummified bodies are arranged in the air in front of her)

And you can see...it isn't what we thought. There has been no war here. No terra-forming event; the environment is stable.

(sighs)

It's the Pax. The G23 Paxilion hydro chlorate that we added to the air processors; it was suppose to calm the population, weed out aggression. Well it works. The people here stopped fighting and then they...stopped everything else. They stopped going to work. They stopped breeding, talking, eating. There are 30 million people here and they all just let themselves die.

(REAVER, out of frame, roars, crashing through barricades)

I have to be quick, but a tenth of a percent of the population had the opposite reaction to the Pax. Their aggressor response increased...beyond madness. They have become...

(Crashing and roars continue to be heard)

Well they have killed most of us. And not just killed. People have done things. I won't live to report this, but people have to know...we meant it for the best; to make people safer.

REAVER
(Growls and snarls, the sounds of crashing become louder)

FEMALE SCIENTIST
God!

(Gun shots are fired as the REAVER moves into frame, attacking the female scientist which continues to scream until her sounds are drowned out.)

(Static blast ends the transmission)
